Can't these sports groups arrange for bussing to the Talisman Centre or park at the Casino? There should be a reasonable # of reserved spots for members - not to mention Cardio Wellness & Lifemark clients!!
We understand that large events impact our parking so we do encourage and ask all event participants to use bussing whenever possible as well as car pooling. As well, we do reserve half of our parking lot for member parking only during events with the Elbow Casino parking as an overflow option when needed.
"Half the parking lot"??? I beg to differ. The majority of the spots were in the rest of the lot i.e. not the "reserved" portion. Several members - myself included - had to cancel paid appointments at Talisman due to not being able to get a parking spot. It should be the guests and visitors that are directed to the Casino - not Talisman Centre members & Lifemark patients.
This situation has gotten worse and seriously needs to be re-visited or people will simply take their business elsewhere.
