Due to the High School Dive and Swim Meet on March 16th the following changes have been made to the Group Fitness & Program schedule:
Get RIPPED! (9:30am to 10:30am)
This class will be running normally in Gym #1
Deep Water Fitness (10:30am to 11:30am)

You & Me Baby-Gym (11:00am to 11:55am)
CANCELLED
Yoga Stretch (11:00am to 12:00pm)
This class will be running normally in the Profile Room
Boot Camp (12:05pm to 1:05pm)
CANCELLED
Power Cycle (5:00pm to 6:00pm)
CANCELLED

Since this event takes place in the pool and not in any of the gyms, I am wondering why some of the Dryland classes are affected and not others. It doesn't seem fair to cancel some of the classes and let others run normally. Bootcamp & Powercycle don't have as many participants as Ripped, so I can't see it being a space issue.
Thank you very much for voicing your concerns about the Drop-In Fitness classes. The High School Dive & Swim Meet on Wednesday March 16 is scheduled to begin at 11:00am and end at 5:00pm. This event typically brings between 800-1000 athletes, coaches, officials and spectators to the facility. The Boot Camp class has been cancelled because the event would take away from the experience that participants have come to expect when coming to the facility for the class (ie: limited parking, access to the locker rooms, volume of people in the facility etc.). The Power Cycle class is not only cancelled because of the event, but also because the instructor is unavailable to teach. The Get RIPPED! classes scheduled from 9:00am to 10:30am are running because these classes take place before the event is scheduled to begin and the event should have little or no impact on the function of the class.
